Going to a Michelangelo event, is actually partying with Michelangelo, what a character!! Featured dances: The Violin Dance, DJ Robot, Shake Dat Ass and The Astro Dip. :)

Dsquared2 He Wood ~ Fragrance

Okay, okay, no really. We stopped in Sephora to pick up our usual Gucci’s Pour Homme I, not to be confused with II, and found another fragrance worth the purchase. We picked up Dsquared2 He Wood, created by Canadian Twin’s Dean and Dan Caten (born Dean and Dan Catenacci) are high-end fashion designers in Milan, Italy.

Lets start with the packaging. Natural fibered stock with black letter press type, simple. The bottle, is a glass square with another black square as the cap, hence Dsquared2. The glass portion is topped with Red Alder wood, we thought the smaller bottle has a more elegant feel to it.

Now, inside the bottle. We love woody notes. The fragrance is built on air, water and wood (white fir, musk, vegetal amber, violet leaf, violet flower, transparent aquatic accord ,vetiver, cedar wood). Overall, it is distinctive, light, masculine, naked, smoky and sweet. Ladies love it.
