On Monday, March 28th, 2011, the underground “Dia de los Muertos” themed party called Subterraneo touched down in Sacramento at Tequila Museo Mayahuel. The hosted event by Jose Cuervo gave K Street a little taste of nightlife like no other. The low lit event hosted over 200 guests, who enjoyed a special menu of Tequila cocktails and desserts, visual projections, a skull ice sculpture, face painting, 10-foot skull puppets, beautiful women dressed in the traditional La Calavera Catrina costumes and the modern latin infused dance music provided by DJ Alex Trujillo(ALX-T) & DJ Will Rodriguez.
